Did You Miss the Green Festival?

Check out video clips of my fav new companies & products from Chicago's Green Festival:
  • I found a decadent dessert you don't have to regret (and no one will know it's raw, vegan and allergy free!)... Raw Creations has amazing desserts (my fav is the chocolate ganache!) and an admirable business philosophy.

  • I've never had a gummy worm taste better. Surf Sweets introduced me to the idea of healthier snacks for the kids made with organic fruit juice.

  • Greenedge Kids is one of my absolute favorites! Not only do they have rockin' style for kids but the owners are down to earth, genuine and involved.

  • Make a date to connect with art at Project Onward located in the Cultural Center. I was inspired by their artists & bought some of the outsider art.

  • Finally met the Urban Worm Girl & was relieved the find out that our worms weren't alone trying to climb up the walls this spring. (And I thought it was the green tea bags!!)

  • The Chillster makes it easy to stop beer warming in an eco friendly way. Perfect for your next BBQ!

  • Join us in welcoming A Fresh Squeeze back.

  • Talking localvore with Gourmet Guerilla. Our favorite lunches at the Nature Museum.

I also bought some products from Recycle Me, Mata Traders, Greenedge Kids and Marfar so this conversation is far from ending. Send me your thoughts and favs at your Green Festival & we'll compare notes!!

I donated to the Orangutan Foundation and received a stuffed Orang for my kids, along with a book and video. The Orangutans are at a critical point in their survival. Their small forest is being slashed and burned to grow palm oil. Please support the Orangutans and make sure your products don't contain palm oil!

I stopped at the Orangutan booth and donated to their cause. Orangs are on the brink of extinction. Their small forest is being slashed and burned to grow palm oil. Please check your labels and support the Orangutans! I also stopped and bought at Stop Beer Warming, Kleen Kanteen, ecokids (chemical free art supplies), Souldier (awesome vintage belts, etc.) and Consolidated Printing Co.

Oh, that sounded delightful! I'm so bummed that I missed it. If only I had more time and were a bit closer....

Glad you and others got to enjoy it!
